SERVICES
Depending on the scale and type of production, I am responsible for conventional or automated lighting fixtures, as well as practicals and, in some instances, controlling video.
SET UP LIGHTING
In live music performances, concerts, and other entertainment, I set up lighting and make effects for live performances and concerts.
Duties include:
Setting up and focusing lights
Patching and or wiring up lights to dimmers or electronic control consoles
Packing down lights after the show
PROGRAMMING LIGHT DESKS
The lighting control, “board” or “desk” is a key part of any stage lighting set up and it is using the lighting desk that an operator is able to control the equipment. This can range from adjusting the “levels” on stage lighting dimmers to controlling complex intelligent lighting systems and media servers.
